Winter 2011

We are in the back-end of another great winter here on Saddleback Lake. Here it is late April and plenty of snow on the mountain and around the lake. But please beware, Saddleback Lake’s ice is now too thin to ski across.

Plenty of availability through June. May is a wonderful time to visit Saddleback Lake. Wildlife is everywhere! Ice-out usually occurs early to mid May.

It’s time to book your winter vacation on Saddleback Lake.

The wood stove will be fired-up and the cabin will be toasty warm upon your arrival. Whether you’ll be skiing at the mountain, the XC Center, snowshoeing around the lake, or just plain relaxing in the cabin you are sure to have a memorable stay.

Our cabin is available for $300 per night or $2,000 per week.

But we have a great special that gives you an extra night for free. That’s right; $600 for a 4-day/3-night stay*. This special offer does not apply for holidays and Feb vacation week where the rate is $300 per night with a 3-night minimum.

Your pet is always welcome at our cabin.

The peace and quiet of our property really separates us from other rentals. Our cabin sits on over 5 acres of Maine woods with 1,000 feet of shoreline. Great views of the mountain and easy access to the cross-country trails. A wonderful Saddleback Mountain Vacation Rental.

Fall is coming soon to Rangeley. Colors are beginning to turn right now in the middle of September and each week it will get better and better until we fade at the end of October.

Columbus Day weekend is booked for 2010 but all other weekends are available. 3-nights for the price of 2-nights or just $600 for your 4 day / 3-night vacation.
